Lily and Luca’s Wedding

Last week Rylie delivered a wedding invitation to me.  Being the mother of a daughter with a vivid imagination I was not surprised when I was informed that Lily (Rylie’s soft toy sheep) and Luca (Rylie’s Ouma’s soft toy sheep) were getting married. Trish (Ouma) advised us that planning for this wedding had been in progress for some time and we were expected participate fully in this afternoon wedding ceremony – including a smart dress code. Cheriece was asked to make the wedding cake, I was asked to take the photos and arrange the music and Trish would conduct the ceremony.

Needless to say we all thoroughly enjoyed the service, the cake and especially the Prosecco – since we’d been on a detox for a few days this was the ideal opportunity to break with our alcohol-free detox and get into the swing of things.
